Kiwanis Brick Building Competition Fundraiser Event 

Build It. Create It. Make It Your Own! 

Put your creativity and building skills to the test in our LEGO Brick Building Competition! Bring your own LEGO-type bricks, choose your category, and see what you can create in just 60minutes. 

Entry Fee — $10* 

Your $10 entry fee entitles you to: 

One entry in the competition being held;  

One 10" × 10" building platform provided at the event; and 

One “build your own minifig” coupon redeemable at the Bricks and Minifigs store 

As this is a fundraiser event, attendees (not contestants) may vote more than once by purchasing additional voting tickets

* Photo and Video Release Consent 
By registering yourself or your child for this event, you consent to the collection and use of your image, voice, and likeness, as well as those of any minors under your guardianship who accompany you. The Kiwanis Club of St. George reserves the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, or video recordings taken during the event for reporting, marketing, and promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, publication in digital newsletters, local newspapers, official website content, and social media platforms. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the event organizers at the registration desk upon arrival. 

Competition Rules 

1. Bring Your Own Bricks 

Participants must bring their own bricks and pieces to use during the competition. 

2. Individual Entries – No team Building  

This is an individual building competition. Each participant must design and build their own creation. No team building or shared entries are allowed.  

3. Original Ideas Only 

Your creation must be your own original idea. Do not copy another participant's creation or use instructions from an existing sets. 

4. 60-Minute Time Limit 

Participants will have 60 minutes to complete their creation. All construction must take place during the competition time, except as noted for the “1-5 year old” category as set out below. 

5. 10" × 10" Building Platform provided at the event. 

All creations must be built on the 10" × 10" building platform provided at the event. 

6. Preassembled Pieces or Section not allowed. 

Only participants in the 1-5 year old category may arrive with some pieces or portions of their creation preassembled to place on their building platform. 

All other categories must build their creation during the 60-minute competition. 

7. One Entry Per Participant 

Each participant may enter one creation in the competition. 

8. Age Categories 

👶 0-5 years old 

🧒 6–10 years old 

👦 11–15 years old 

🧑 16 & Up 

Participants must compete in the category corresponding to their age on the day of the competition. 

9. Judging 

Creations will be judged on factors including: 

Creativity 

Originality 

Attention to detail 

Use of LEGO-type bricks and pieces 

Overall appearance 

How well the creation fits the assigned building prompt 

10. Have Fun! 

This competition is about creativity, imagination, and having fun. Build something you're proud of!

Selected by the Kiwanis judges as a special recognition of an outstanding creation. 

❤️ People's Choice Award 

The winner is selected by votes from event attendees.  As this is a fundraiser event, attendees (not contestants) may vote more than once by purchasing additional voting tickets for $3 each at the event.

🌈 Most Colorful Creation 

For the most creative and colorful use of LEGO-type pieces. 

💡 Most Creative Idea 

For an especially original and imaginative concept. 

🤯 Most Unexpected Build 

For the creation that makes everyone say, "I never would have thought of that!" 

🔧 Best Engineering 

For clever construction, structure, or building techniques. 

📖 Best Story Behind the Build 

For the builder with the most creative story or explanation about their creation. 

🔍 Most Detailed Build 

For the creation packed with impressive little details. 

🏗️ Tallest Build 

For the builder who reaches for the sky! 

🤩 Biggest "WOW!" Factor
